14 Nov 2016

Announced almost two years, Milan Luthria s Baadshaho has been in the pipeline for a while and the recent setback that the film faced was due to the sudden demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes. The films shoot schedule has been delayed by ten days since the makers want the sudden panic to die down. Baadshaho was said to go on floor on November 19 but will now roll on November 29. Sources claim that this decision of a delay, because of a situation of panic in the country, has directly affected the team who is a part of the shoot schedule. Junior artists and a few other unit members are often paid remuneration on a day-to-day basis which is generally in cash. Considering the current shortage of currency notes, the work is severely affected which has in turn forced the makers to put the shoot on hold until matters settle down. Revealing about the same, Milan Luthria is all praises for his team who he said are in a bid to find an alternative and are already making appropriate plans to smoothen the payment process for the ones who are given daily wages. He also appreciated the spirit shown by the actors in the film as well as expressed his happiness about the way they have been accommodating and co-operative in the situation. Baadshaho stars Ajay Devgn in the lead along with has Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana DCruz, Vidyut Jammwal in prominent roles.
