Talaash music launch in Hotel Lido

We all have heard tales of actors flying down from across continents to attend special events of their film or for that matter makers of films walking extra mile to make sure all characters come together for the music launch of the film. But ever heard of someone integral or should we say 'something' integral to the film being recreated for the music launch. Soon to realize Talaash makes this far-fetched thought a reality now. Talaash is going to have its music launched with a unique creative grandeur. The team is re-creating a red-light area setting of Mumbai to launch the music. They are building and creating an exact replica of Hotel Lido in one of the suburban hotels of Mumbai city, wherein the music of the film will be launched. Interestingly, it was Ritesh Sidhwani, the partner in the ownership of Excel Entertainment which is producing the film along with Farhan Akhtar, who came up with this intriguing idea. Ask him why and he says, "Hotel Lido is almost like an important character in the film not just a location or a set. Hence we thought we should come up with an idea which is not only engaging but also relevant to the film." Hotel Lido is just like any other hotel on the streets of a red light area, notorious for the all the activities which take place within. The work on re-creating the look and working on the logistics has already begun and the art director which worked in the film for creating Hotel Lido has been roped in to work for the music launch too. Talaash marks the re-union of Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the trio which almost 10 years ago gave Bollywood its cult hit and a classic Dil Chahta Hai . Watch Promo: Talaash
