Arjun, Alia starrer 2 States goes on floor today

New comers Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt who both have one film under their belts will be starting work on their next venture today. The film, 2 States, which is produced by Dharma and Sajid Nadiadwala is being directed by debutante Abhishek Varman, the son of veteran art director R. Varman.

Tweeting about the culmination of shooting, Karan posted yesterday, "Sajid Nadiadwala and me collaborate on #2 States which starts filming 2mor with Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt...directed by Abhishek Varman".

He added today, " #2states starts 2day with a wedding song!!!! #arjunkapoor @aliaa08 !!" The film which is based on the book by Chetan Bhagat features Arjun playing a typical Punjabi boy from Delhi who falls with a south Indian girl played by Alia.
