South superstar Mohanlal joins the Satyamev Jayate team

For those who are eagerly awaiting the return of Aamir Khan's iconic TV show 'Satyamev Jayate' (SMJ), this time round, they will witness yet another superstar joining hands with the 'SMJ' team. Malayalam actor Mohanlal has extended his support for this show.

While he won't be co-hosting the show with Aamir, Mohanlal will be featuring in the show's promos. He will be shown talking about the various issues that Aamir will be seen tackling on the show. Uday Shankar, CEO Star India, who is excited about the new turn of events, revealed that the issues raised by 'SMJ' are of national importance and that Mohanlal's association with the show will help gather greater support for the show's cause.

The second season of 'Satyamev Jayate' is scheduled to go on air from March 2 this year.
