Manoj Bajpayee to host a TV series

While he is known for portraying grey roles on screen, Manoj Bajpayee will now play a host to a television series that will be a crime based thriller about gangsters.

Titled 'Encounter', the series will feature 35 real life encounters of gangsters like Manya Surve, Maya Dolas and many others. Revealing about his new stint as an anchor, Manoj stated that he already shot for three episodes and finds it rather intriguing. He claimed that this show is an attempt to explain the way these gangsters leave a grieving family under miserable circumstances owing to their illegal activities and how the police aren't to be blamed for encounters that benefit the well being of the society.

Encounter is slated to go on air soon.
