Konkona Sen Sharma in a Bengali film on Byomkesh Bakshi

A new film on Bengali character Byomkesh Bakshi is on the pipeline. Titled Sajarur Kanta it will be directed by Saibal Mitra.

The film which will star Dhritiman Chatterjee playing the lead role of the detective, it will also have actor Indraneil Gupta (known for his role in Kahaani) along with Konkana Sen Sharma. An excited Indraneil was more than happy to share screen space with Konkana and stated that she wouldn't require an acting certificate from him considering her popularity.

While Indraneil will play the role of a business man who gets involved in the murder mystery, Konkana's character in Sajarur Kanta is still being kept under wraps.
