Sonakshi Sinha buys a kabaddi team

Sonakshi Sinha, who has been on a high since the success of her last release Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty, is certainly making headlines. After the news that she will be featuring in rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh's next music album, we hear that the actress has bought her own Kabaddi team.

It is learnt that the actress has bought the UK team and has named it the 'United Kings' for the World Kabaddi League. While confirming the acquisition, Sonakshi commented that the concept of buying a team interested her after her attention was perked when she witnessed Arjun Kapoor shoot for a kabaddi sequence in their upcoming film Tevar . With this acquisition, Sonakshi becomes the third Bollywood personality after Akshay Kumar and Honey Singh, to launch their own team. The World Kabaddi League kickstarts on August 9 in London and will be taken across three continents. Ten teams will be competing, each comprising 10 players, including Indian players along with some foreign players for prize money of a whooping Rs. 3.5 crores.
