Shah Rukh Khan down with fever

Looks like the extensive promotions of his recent release Happy New Year has taken a toll on Shah Rukh Khan's health. The 48 year old actor is down with fever and cold and has posted about his current health condition on his Twitter handle.

"Down with cold & fever. Can't smell a thing...not even the success. Can see it...feel it...read it... waiting to smell it!!" said Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has been busy promoting his film Happy New Year with the rest of the star cast and director Farah Khan on every television show. In fact, prior to that, Shah Rukh Khan had even gone on a promotional tour titled 'SLAM!' along with his friends and HNY cast to US and UK.

Happy New Year also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah along with Jackie Shroff. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Happy New Year released last week on October 24.
