7 Aug 2015

Readers may be aware that Remo D'Souza's blockbuster dance film ABCD 2 was inspired by the real life story of choreographer Suresh and his dance troupe called 'Fictitious Kings United Dance Group'. However, the bond between Varun and Suresh did not end at that. The actor, despite his other film commitments, decided to help Suresh for the World Hip Hop Championship.

While shooting for ABCD 2, Suresh mentioned that he had confided in Varun Dhawan about the problems they often face which includes funding for such international competitions. And Varun decided to do his own bit for the dance group. Suresh further stated that Varun not only helped them in arranging for sponsors but also paid from his own pocket in order to help them in participating in the World Hip Hop Championship.

The 'Fictitious Kings United Dance Group' not only entertained the audience with their dance moves but have also reached the semi finals of the championship.
