Katrina Kaif, who last performed stunts in Dhoom 3 , will be seen in an action packed avatar in the upcoming Kabir Khan directorial Phantom. From what we hear, the actress will be seen in the role of a Parsi girl in the film.

Katrina Kaif, who has previously played the role of a dancer, RAW agent and so on, will be seen playing a London based aid worker. Apparently, her role in Phantom has been inspired from real life aid workers with whom Kabir has interacted during his days as a documentary filmmaker. It is being said that Katrina gets involved in the mission after she has been sent by the aid organization to seek revenge from the ones who are responsible for the 26/11 attacks.

Phantom, that stars Saif Ali Khan as the male lead, is based on the consequences post the infamous 26/11 attacks in Mumbai wherein a highly skilled team of a handful men carry out a secret mission to destroy the ones who ruined Mumbai. It is an adaptation of Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mumbai Avengers'. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in association with UTV, the film is slated to release on August 28.
