Honey Singh to make his Punjabi acting debut with Zorawar

He is a man (read 'rockstar') who, not just speaks the language of the youth, but also composes his music in the 'language of the youth'. We are indeed talking about the one and only Honey Singh, who, after setting the music charts on fire went 'missing' quite recently.

Well, this piece of information will definitely be 'music' to your ears, even if you are or are not a Honey Singh fan. And the news is that, after having won everyone's hearts alike with his music and songs, Honey Singh is now all set to take a plunge as an actor with a Punjabi romantic action film tilted Zorawar . The film will see him in the title role of a soldier and he will be seen performing some high-octane action stunts for the first time! Speaking about the film, the film's producer Rajiee Shinde said, "The audience will witness Honey Singh in a never-seen-before avatar for the first time in Zorawar and he has done a fabulous job as an actor. We hope he will live up to people's expectations as always and the audiences enjoy the film as much as we enjoyed making it." On the other hand, the film's director Vinnil Markan said, " Zorawar is an intense thriller which has all the ingredients of a commercial entertainer. The hero had to be someone larger than life so who better than Honey Singh to play it. He approached the role with great fervour and focus and has done a stupendous job as though he were a veteran. It has been an amazing experience working with him." Readers may recall that, Honey Singh had made his Bollywood debut as an actor with the Himesh Reshammiya's whodunit thriller The Xpose . While Zorawar is being produced by PTC Motion Pictures, Rajiee M Shinde and Rabindra Narayan, it is being directed by Vinnil Markan and is scheduled to release 6th May 2016.
