Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao to star in a romcom Bareilly Ki Barfi

A new romcom is in the making starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao. After winning accolades for Nil Battey Sannata , filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is taking the rom-com path and will be directing the film titled Bareilly Ki Barfi. The story will be rooted in Uttar Pradesh where Kriti Sanon will play a liberated and forward thinking UP girl. Ayushmann Khurrana is a printing press owner and Rajkummar Rao is an author.

Produced by Junglee Pictures and BR Studios, Bareilly Ki Barfi title is derived by the storyline itself as Kriti Sanon's character owns a sweet shop in UP. The cast is currently attending workshops for the film and will begin shooting in the first week of October.

Apart from this, Kriti Sanon recently wrapped up her romantic drama Raabta in Mauritius. Ayushmann Khurrana will be next seen in YRF's Meri Pyaari Bindu whereas Rajkummar Rao was last seen in Hansal Mehta's Aligarh .
