Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi to release in US and Canada before India

Unlike his love stories, Dear Zindagi that traces a unique friendship between its two lead characters. The film that has opted for a different market strategy for its promotions will be one of is kind as it will release abroad before hitting the screens in India. Banking on the Thanksgiving weekend, Dear Zindagi will release in US and Canada on Wednesday November 23 and even in UAE-GCC on November 24, whilst the release date in India is Friday, November 25. The film traces the life of young Kaira played by Alia Bhatt , who sets out on a journey to discover happiness. While Kunal Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Tahir Raj Bhasin and Aditya Roy Kapur play her love interests, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of her mentor Jehangir Khan (aka Jugs). Directed by Gauri Shinde, Dear Zindagi is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Karan Johar s Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.
