She has the ability, brains and energy to do more and more and mark my words- She will rise with the right intent."Actor Mahesh Manjrekar said, "Mansi is full of life and enthusiasm and I love how passionate she is towards filmmaking. This is my passion and I will see it through.Mansi is currently basking in glory as she has been receiving a lot of appreciation and support from the industry and friends on her two projects one of which is completed. Aadesh Shrivastava miffed with Salim-Sulaiman

12 Sep 2012

Composer Aadesh Shrivastava is acutely peeved with his colleagues Salim-Sulaiman for walking away with the credit for the entire score of Chakravyuh.

Speaking from LA where Aadesh is attending to the release of his first international single, the composer fumed, "I had earlier worked with Prakash Jha in Raajneeti over the song 'Mora Piya' which was a big success. So I happily agreed to contribute an item song entitled 'Paro' to Chakravyuh. But I am not happy about the way my song is being neglected in the marketing of the music."

Aadesh claims the entire credit for his track 'Paro' is going to Salim-Sulaiman who have done the rest of the score. And neither the composers nor Prakash Jha is doing anything to rectify the misapprehension.

Says Aadesh, "I am shocked and disappointed to see credit for my song going to Salim-Sulaiman. Surprisingly, they haven't come forward to clear the air regarding who's done the 'Paro' song. Neither has Prakash Jha. I've sent him a long message requesting him to ensure I get credit for it."

Prakash Jha is far from amused at the allegation. "First of all, why blame Salim-Sulaiman. The marketing and the promotion of a film and its music is the producer's responsibility. As the producer of Chakravyuh, I know exactly how to promote the songs. I don't know what Aadesh is getting insecure about. Salim-Sulaiman have done 2 songs and the entire background score for my film. Naturally they are the face of the film's soundtrack."

Prakash says Aadesh's track would get its attention and recognition at the right time. "It's a catchy dance number featuring Abhay Deol and Arjun Rampal. When the song is on air, Aadesh would definitely get credit for it. I see no reason for this negativity."

Aadesh, however, maintains that a perception is being created that the entire score is by Salim-Sulaiman. "Please go on the internet. You'll know what I mean. I don't know who is responsible. All I am asking is give me my due credit. I am trying to get my groove back after my illness."
