Parineeti-Raghav Wedding: Check out couple's first pic as husband and wife

It was attended by several well-known faces of the entertainment industry and politicians.Earlier in the afternoon, the baraatis arrived on a boat. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were spotted making their way to the wedding ceremony.Tennis star Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, Shiva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, and Manish Malhotra also marked their presence at the starry wedding. Parineeti's cousin and global star Priyanka Chopra gave Parineeti and Raghav's wedding a miss. However, Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra attended the wedding.Prior to D-day, Parineeti and Raghav held a sangeet in Udaipur with a 90s theme. Punjabi singer Navraj Hans performed at the function. Reportedly, guests received cassettes with customized messages for them. The couple showcased their distinctive personal style on the auspicious occasion.Before arriving in Udaipur for the main wedding festivities, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a Sufi night for close friends and family members in Delhi.The couple got engaged on May 13 in Delhi. The star-studded ceremony was attended by several politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray.Parineeti and Raghav reportedly knew each other for several years before they began dating. The love story of Raghav-Parineeti might have blossomed in London as reportedly the duo studied together in a college there.Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti will share screen space with Diljit Dosanjh in Chamkila. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film revolves around two famous Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. She also has Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue along with Akshay Kumar in her kitty.

Vivek Agnihotri mocks Kejriwal for his derogatory remarks on 'The Kashmir Files'

Arvind Kejriwal has been facing backlash all over social media for his recent derogatory remarks on making 'The Kashmir Files' tax-free in the state, and now the director of the film, Vivek Agnihotri, has also reacted to the same.Vivek Agnihotri reached the Chitra Bharati Film Festival at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal for a press conference, on Friday.During the event, Agnihotri was asked to comment on Kejriwal's statement for uploading 'The Kashmir Files' on YouTube instead of demanding the movie to be declared tax-free in the national capital.Reacting to the same, the 48-year-old joked, "Many people even want God should come to earth.""There are people who are fool, then there are mad and then there are idiots. All these three categories of people should be avoided, they should not be answered," he added.For the unversed, during his recent speech in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal said, "They (BJP) are demanding that the movie be declared tax-free in Delhi. Upload it on YouTube, the movie will become free and everyone will be able to watch it."He further said, "Some people are earning crores in the name of Kashmiri Pandits and you (BJP) have been sticking posters of the film."Earlier, veteran actor Anupam Kher, who played the lead role in the film, also shared a tweet in response to the same."Ab to dosto #TheKashmirFiles cinema hall me hi jaake dekhna. Cinema halls to shut down in Delhi amid rising cases of COVID-19; to impact films like 83, Jersey, RRR

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced strict restrictions in the city in view of the rising COVID-19 cases and a surge in the Omicron variant in the city. In the past few weeks, India has seen a rise in the number of cases with experts predicting the country to see a peak in daily cases only by February.On Tuesday, CM Kejriwal announced that spas, gyms and cinema halls that were earlier operating at 50 percent capacity will be shut down. This announcement has come after the national capital witnessed a test positivity rate of more than 0.5% from the past two days.This announcement has come as a big blow to filmmakers and theatre owners, exhibitors, and distributors. The theatres were just reviving with films like SooryavanshiSpider-Man: No Way Home, and Pushpa bringing people back to the theatres despite the 50 % capacity rule. Now, with the Delhi government announcing to shut down cinema halls, it will have a major impact on the business of the recently released film starring Ranveer Singh and upcoming films like Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor and the pan-India film RRR. SS Rajamouli's RRR was expected to revive the theatres. The film which is scheduled to release on January 7 stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn.
