Salman Khan to replace Atif Aslam in Main Taare song in Notebook?

6 Mar 2019

Salman Khan is once again becoming a part of a song as a singer. The actor, who juggles between films, TV and endorsements, is producing his next film Notebook as he is introducing two new faces Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal. The trailer and song are being appreciated as the film is a new take on a love story. Apart from producing, it seems like Salman Khan will be lending his voice to a romantic track Main Taare. As per earlier reports, Atif Aslam was supposed to be the lead singer of the track. But, due to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan and ban imposed the on Pakistani artists, it seems like the singer is now been replaced by none other than Salman Khan himself. Some reports have suggested that the makers brainstormed and considered many singers to replace the Pakistani singer. But, they werent too convinced about them until Salman Khans name cropped up. He had previously sung Main Hoon Hero in his previous production Hero starring Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi. The makers reportedly thought that Salman was a good fit and the actor has given a nod to it as well. Not only this, but Notebook will also have recreated version of Mission Kashmir song Bumbro which featured Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.Notebook takes the audience on a romantic journey back in time against the backdrop of Kashmir, raising the question; can you fall in love with someone you never met? Zaheer Iqbal, who hails from a non-filmy background, happens to be the first member from his family to set his foot in Bollywood. Debutante actress Pranutan Bahl, daughter of Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of Nutan, was a lawyer by profession but she was always aspired to be an actor and hence she chose the acting profession. Notebook has been shot in the exquisite valleys of Kashmir bringing the authentic love story of two lovers Firdaus and Kabir , along with a strong support cast with the child artists, who play a vital role on the story. Helmed by Nitin Kakkar, Notebook is presented by Salman Khan Films and is a Cine1 Studios Production. It is produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde and is all set to hit the screens on March 29, 2019. Salman Khan replaces Arijit again in Welcome To New York

19 Feb 2018

He did it again! Salman Khan apparently got Arijit Singhs voice replaced with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai. This is the second time Salman did away with Arijits voice. While a majority of us have nothing against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan or Atif Aslam, we wonder if this is the right time to invite them to sing in Bollywood at a time when tensions on the border have escalated to an alarming pitch. In Tiger Zinda Hai we had Atif Aslam crooning Dil Diya Gallan and now theres Atif Aslam crooning Ishtehaar in Welcome To New York. Interestingly it is being whispered that Salman Khan insisted on dubbing Arijits voice with Rahats earlier also in Sultan for the song Jag Ghoomiya. The Salman-Arijit feud goes back a long a way to an awards function which Salman had hosted and where Arijit came on stage wearing informal clothes and casual chappals. The two had exchanged barbed sarcasm on stage. This perhaps explains why Arijit was shown the backdoor in favour of Rahat. But how do we explain Rahats presence in Welcome To New York ? BJP minister singer Baabul Supriyo says he is not able to comprehend the need or desire to cross the border for entertainment content at a time when war is no longer a remote concept. If thats true, I would request the makers of the film to remove Rahats voice and get someone else to dub it! I am also not sure why Atif Aslam got to sing Dil Diya Gallan when for sure our very own Arijit could have done a much better job. The FM stations played the song galore while news channels announced the name of our soldiers martyred by PAK-sponsored terrorists. Baabul clarifies that India has no problems with either Atif or Rahat. Atif as an artist sounds great in Dil Diya and Rahat is a great singer too. But its important to clarify that our problem is not with the artists, Atif or Rahat but with their Pakistani nationality. Its not a political stand but probably the families who have lost their sons, brothers, fathers would feel a lot better should the entire country show solidarity in any manner possible. Bollywood, says Baabul, has a national responsibility. Bollywood is an integral part of that Indianism. It represents India worldwide; hence banning Pakistani artists in Indian films would have also taken the protest against organised terrorism by the rogue nation, worldwide. And, I very clearly recall that such a promise was made when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had met with protests due to Fawad Khan. And why is Pakisans entertainment industry silent over cross-border terrorism? Baabul wonders, Its pertinent to note that one cannot recall a single Pak artist made famous by Bollywood, condemn terror acts by Pakistan. Enough is enough now, ban them for their only crime, that is being a Pakistani. Let we Indians wear our hearts on our sleeves and let our hearts beat in salutation of the sacrifice of our brave hearts. Also Read: SHOCKING! Being Human of Salman Khan gets blacklisted by BMC

Sonu Nigam, Atif Aslam to tour US and Canada

8 Sep 2016

Arijit Singh replaced by Atif Aslam in A Flying Jatt

1 Aug 2016

Lightning, they say, never strikes the same place again. But Arijit Singh's career has been struck by lightning twice, originating from the same place.

Pakistan. While his song ' Jag Ghoomiya ' in Sultan was re-rendered by Ustad Rahat Ali Khan, his new track for the film A Flying Jatt has now been dubbed in the voice of Atif Aslam.

While the people close to the development including composers Sachin-Jigar maintain the news is a hoax, sources close to Arijit Singh reveal that Bollywood's finest singer today has indeed been dubbed and snubbed again.

A very talented filmmaker-musician wonders what was the need to replace Arijit. "He has such an amazing voice! And he exercises such great control over the seven musical notes. Unusual for today's singer to be so deeply trained in Hindustani classical music. I can understand a singer as great as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan being brought in place of Arijit. But Atif Aslam can't hold one note in place. He sings off-key and his diction is faulty. Why are we importing bad talent to replace good indigenous talent?" Arijit Singh himself remains noncommittal about the snub. "No one is irreplaceable, in any walk of life. Whether you are a singer or a doctor, there will always be others to take over your place." Did the two singers from across the border speak to Arijit Singh before stepping in? "No, that protocol is not followed by any singer today. If I replaced a singer, I wouldn't be expected to consult whichever singer I was replacing," says Arijit Singh.

Tiger Shroff to learn martial arts for Remo D'Souza's The Flying Jat

8 Jul 2015

Tiger Shroff, who was last seen in the music video of the Atif Aslam track 'Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon' , is now preparing for two films simultaneously. While he will be seen romancing Shraddha Kapoor in Sabbir Khan's Baaghi , Tiger will be paired opposite Jacqueline Fernandez in Remo D'Souza's The Flying Jat . Remo D'Souza who is riding high on the success of ABCD 2 will be soon flying to Bangkok along with the cast and crew for shooting the film but the 'superhero' of the film, Tiger Shroff, will be flying to the Thailand capital a week before the schedule. The actor will apparently undergo a seven day training program for his action sequences in the film. Though Tiger is popular for his martial arts, the actor will have to learn a few more tricks to play the character with conviction. While his look in the film is being kept strictly under wraps, the COO of Balaji Motion Pictures Tanveer Bookwala, the producers the film, stated that Tiger will be donning a completely new avatar for which the training is necessary.
