Musician Mark Tuan, who popularly goes by his first name Mark in the South Korean group GOT7, now finally has a representation. The 27-year-old artist has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) - an American agency based in Los Angeles, California. It is home to many talents including Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, H.E.R among many more established names.According to Deadline, "Tuan is looking to expand his digital presence in the United States with CAA." Mark has been working in South Korea since he began his career as a musician. GOT7 did not renew their contracts with their former agency JYP Entertainment. Since then, all members have now new representations while the leader of the group JAY B is yet to announce his rep.Back in February 2021, Tuan released his solo single 'One In A Million' in collaboration with BangladeshiAmerican musician, electronic music producer, and DJ - Sanjoy. The song reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart in more than 20 countries within 24 hours since it released.Mark Tuan has been hosting live streams lately. He recently launched the new apparel capsule collection, called XC3, with Represent which is already sold out.

Remember the extraordinarily talented director Shimit Amin? His main claim to fame is Chak De the iconic hockey flick with Shah Rukh Khan in 2007. Thereafter, Shimit, who made his directorial debut in the Ram Gopal Varma production Abb Tak Chappan in 2004, directed Rocket Singh Salesmanof The Year in 2009.Nothing was heard of Shimit since then except in connection with Mira Nair who not only considers Shimit a dear friend. But also a talent to reckon with. Way back in 2013, Mira told me she was trying to persuade Shimit to return to acting. But it didnt work out. Shimit was busy helping his wife with her directorial debut, a film entitled Girls .But now 11 years after Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year, Shimit is back at direction, albeit just one episode of Mira Nairs series A Suitable Boy.It is believed that Shimit will very soon return to full-fledged direction. Says Mira Nair, This (one episode of A Suitable Boy) is a new start. I had persuaded Shimit to edit my film The Reluctant Fundamentalist in 2014.

Aditya Chopras Yash Raj Films (YRF), who had backed Chak De India and Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year , will be producing this film. The source further adds, Yash Raj Films is completing 50 years in 2020. As part of the celebrations, theyll be announcing some exciting and big-budget films to mark the occasion. Shimit Amins next would be one of those films thatll be proudly launched by Aditya Chopra and team. They have immense trust in his potential and are extremely happy with his earlier two films with their esteemed banner. However, theres no news on the films cast and title. Even the genre is not known. The source tells, With most directors, one can guess what kind of film it will be since they often operate in one kind of genre. But when it comes to Shimit Amin, you just cant assume anything. All his three films were drastically diverse. Ab Tak Chhappan was about underworld and Mumbai police. Chak De India dealt with hockey while Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year was one-of-its-kind-film on corporate structure. Moreover, YRF have fiercely kept all details under wraps. So its next to impossible to find out any more details. What is confirmed, however, is that Shimit Amins next with YRF is on. Post Rocket Singh Salesman Of The Year, Shimit Amin was also seen in the capacity of the editor on Mira Nairs 2013 film The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

Shimit Amin collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time with Chak De India and the film went on to create history. And now, after over a decade, reports have it that the two are planning to join hands once again. However, if these reports are to be believed it wouldnt be a sports biopic. Readers may recall that Shah Rukh Khan played the role of a coach of womens hockey team in Chak De India.The film not only had a different plotline but it also managed to break the romantic hero image of Shah Rukh, who was seen in a completely different avatar in the film. In fact, the film didnt feature any love interest for Shah Rukhs character. On the other hand, speaking on the new film that Shah Rukh Khan and Shimit Amin are reportedly collaborating for, it is expected to be a period drama. Moreover, the film is also said to be a two-hero project. While Ayushmann Khurrana s name has been doing the rounds as the second lead, there has been no official announcement on any of these details. Also, yet another thing that these reports are suggesting is that Shah Rukh Khan, who reconnected with Shimit Amin last year on the 10 th anniversary of Chak De India , has asked the filmmaker to work on the script. Even though they are keen on doing the film, the final draft of the script is yet to be ready and the superstar too is said to have not signed on the dotted line as of now. It seems that there is still quite some time before the film takes off. As of now, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with Zero which reunites him with his Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.Also, the actor is said to dive into Salute once he wraps up the Aanand L. It wasnt until my friend the lyricist-writer Ankur Tiwari shared the idea of a film on a historic hockey match that India played at the 1948 Olympics and brought home Indias first gold medal, that I finally got down to doing my own sports film. Reema is prompt to stress that the film, scripted by Rajesh Devraj, is not a historical account of the actual game. Mine is a fictional take on what actually happened. The game of hockey features prominently in the plot. But there is also a strong human drama playing at the forefront. And it isnt just the Olympics victory in 1948 we are looking at. Interestingly Olympian hockey player Sandeep Singh whose life has been filmed into a bio-pic Soorma directed by Shaad Ali, trained Akshay Kumar to look sufficiently skilled on the hockey field. August 15, 2012 marked the release of Salman Khan's first film under the acclaimed banner of Yash Raj Films. Two years on, we hear that the big ticket production house YRF has now signed Salman Khan for two more projects. While one of the films will be the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger that will again be directed by Kabir Khan, the second film is said to be helmed by Shimit Amin.

Though an official confirmation of the same is still pending, we hear that the production house will be making a formal announcement within the next few days.
