B-Town mourns death of veteran singer Bhupinder Singh

Bhupinder Singh passed away at the age of 82 on Monday. The singer, known for his songs like 'Dil Dhoondta Hai' and 'Hohon Pe Aise Baat' among many others, breathed his last in a hospital in Mumbai.Condolence messages have been pouring in on social media ever since the news reached everyone. Bollywood stars and singers have also expressed grief over the legendary singer's demise.Actor Ajay Devgn took to his Instagram stories to remember the late singer. He posted a photo of him and wrote, "Deeply saddened about the demise of Bhupinder Singh ji. His voice brought joy to millions and had a uniqueness. Condolences to his family. RIP Bhupinder Ji. (Om emoji) Shaanti."Actor Shekhar Suman took to Twitter and wrote, "Dil dhoondta hai phir wohi fursat ke raat din..the man with the velvet voice..Bhupendra Singh is no more...RIP." Singer Vishal Dadlani also expressed grief on Twitter. He wrote, "In memoriam #BhupinderSingh ji. A with a voice from a gentler time. Tragically poetic that he should follow Lataji, as he did so beautifully in the song #NaamGumJaayega composed by #RDBurman and written by Gulzarsaab. He was undergoing treatment related to several health complications at the hospital for the past 10 days.

Anup Jalota has expressed grief over the demise of legendary ghazal singer Bhupinder Singh. Reminiscing the good old days with the late singer, he said that his voice was one of the rarest voices the music industry has ever come across and that he has left behind a void in the industry.Remembering the late singer's early days, Anup Jalota shared that he entered the industry as a guitarist and played the guitar in famous songs like 'Dum maaro dum'. It was later that he was spotted as a good singer. He also shared that the late singer was music maestros Gulzar and R D Burman's favourite singer.He concluded by reciting one of his lines "dil dhoondta hai phir wahi fursat ke raat din...beete na bitaye raina" adding, "kaun bhoolega unko, aise cheezein unhone gaayi hain. Janhvi Kapoor has currently been shooting for Good Luck Jerry in Patiala. The actress came across a group of agitated group of protesting farmers. The actress and her entire unit faced a lot of difficulty during their shooting schedule while the shoot on Bhupindra Road. A group of farmers protested outside the shoot location and started chanting slogans like Janhvi Kapoor go back.When the protests got a little too aggressive, the team had no option but to wrap up the shoot earlier than expected. The protests even sat on dharna outside Janhvi Kapoors hotel and the police had to intervene to avoid any casualties. Even though there were no police complaints a police party reached once they were informed of the dharna. Good Luck Jerry is the remake of a south film Kolamavu Kokila where Janhvi will be seen playing the role of a simple girl.Along with Janhvi Kapoors Good Luck Jerry, as per the reports, two more films are to be shot in Patiala.
