Drawing inspiration from freedom fighter Usha Mehta's incredible journey, the film pays respect to both recognized and unseen warriors, capturing the bravery, patriotism, sacrifice, and determination displayed by India's young throughout the freedom movement.Directed by Kannan Iyer, 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' is written by Iyer, along with Darab Farooqui.His latest film 'Yodha' as a producer is currently running in theatres and performing well at the box office. It stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role.

Film-maker Karan Johar, who has been in headlines these past few months, has headed to Goa. The filmmaker was seen at the Mumbai airport where chartered flights take off from. He was reportedly accompanied by his mother Hiroo Johar and twins Yash and Roohi. All of them were adhering to the safety protocols and wearing masks. They were also seen with some of their staff members.Reportedly, Karan has taken off for a mini getaway with the family. Interestingly, his production starring Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi will begin soon in Goa itself. The film is being directed by Shalu. Batra.Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar was supposed to kick-start his directorial Takht this year but due to the pandemic, the film seems to have been kept on the backburner for now.

A couple of months ago, a video posted by Karan Johar became viral that featured all the big stars including Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone Shahid Kapoor , and Varun Dhawan among the others. Rani Mukerji has been sent a legal notice by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for an alleged illegal construction around her bungalow, Krishna Ram, in Juhu, Mumbai. According to the reports, the members of the BMC had reached her Juhu residence to examine the house a week ago but were not allowed to enter the house. Now, the BMC members will be coming back on August 30 and might be accompanied by policemen. The reports claimed that Prashant Gaikwad, the assistant civic commissioner of the K-West ward, had received the complaint from several activists about the alleged illegal construction. Then, the notice had been issued under Section 488 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, which grants BMC the right to inspect the land. The municipal body records suggested that Rani Mukerji had been granted a commencement certificate to modify her bungalow in 2014. However, even after the expiration of the certificate, dated November 2015, construction work is still in progress at the premises. However, Rani Mukerjis spokesperson said that the allegations made against her about illegal construction were completely baseless. Adding to it, he said that the certificate was renewed and BMC has the records to confirm the same. He also added the ongoing construction falls under the guidelines of BMC. But, Nikitesh Chaubal, activist and chairman of Aamhi Jagrut Mumbaikar, has claimed that the certificate has not been renewed and the ongoing construction is in violation of BMC regulations.
