With the new rules set by the government to control the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of film shoots are now getting back on track. Sidharth Malhotra who went to Lucknow for the shoot of Mission Majnu and shot for Indra Kumar's Thank God before the second lockdown is again back on set.The actor went back to a set after a couple of months on Monday in Mumbai and will resume the shoot of his upcoming film, Thank God in July. Humbled by being able to shoot again, actor Sidharth Malhotra shares, "It's been a long wait and I have been looking forward to getting back to the hustle-bustle of film shoots. Elated to shoot again and see the happy & creative flow of energy that was truly missed."The actor has ensured that his fans are entertained with very interesting and diverse stories and characters. Narayani Shashtri, who plays actor Vijayendra Kumeria's on-screen mother in Sonali and Amir Jaffar's Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha, has tested positive for COVID-19. Confirming the news, Sonali said in a statement, "Actor Narayani Shastri who is an integral part of the TV show 'Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha' has unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19. She is receiving medical attention and is home quarantined at the moment.""Immediately thereupon the entire cast & crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to," she added. Narayani returned to the small screen after almost two years with the show that went on-air on March 2. She plays Rajvee Rawal, mother of Darsh Rawal (Vijayendra's character), a visually impaired photographer. The show also features Richa Rathore in the lead.

Actor Jitendra Kumar who is a popular face in the digital world will next be seen leading a Netflix original film. Reportedly, the actor who made his Bollywood debut with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan last year has been roped in for a sports-based film for the streaming giant in association with his colleagues from The Viral Fever(TVF).Reportedly, the film has been titled Jadoogar and will see Jitendra play the role of a football player. The film will see Arushi Sharma as the female lead while Javed Jaffrey is said to be playing a sports coach. Arushi, too, made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal. Sameer Saxena who has directed popular TVF shows like Permanent Roommates, Yeh Meri Family and TVF Tripling will be directing the film. The film has been written by his regular collaborator Biswapati Sarkar, who was also an integral part of the TVF team.Saxena and Sarkar had walked out of TVF last August and this will be their first project together since. Saxena and Sarkar along with Amit Golani and Saurabh Khanna started a new production company named Posham Pa Pictures. The film is scheduled to go on floors next month.
