Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 12 : Actor Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput recently gave fans a glimpse of their family time by sharing a sweet video of an intimate evening with her husband Shahid Kapoor, his parents Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak and other members.Mira posted a reel on her Instagram, showing Shahid setting up a family selfie with a timer. He gathers the whole extended family close to the camera but then surprises them by revealing it's actually a video. The family erupts into laughter at the realization.The couple, along with Shahid's parents, can be seen dressed casually in the video.Mira is seen wearing a pink top while Shahid opted for a black ganji. Another video showcased a range of mango desserts, such as mango souffle, mango rasmalai, and mango rabri. Her last Story of the day depicted the whole family gathered in the living area, watching an Indian Premier League match on TV.She wrote in the caption, "Khao, piyo, dekho" (eat, drink, watch).Shahid and Mira got married on July 7, 2015, in an intimate wedding in Delhi. The duo had an arranged marriage. They are doting parents to daughter Misha and son Zain. Misha was born in 2016 while Shahid-Mira welcomed Zain in 2018.

Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Kapur got married in 1988 and have two kids, son Ruhaan Kapoor and daughter Sanah Kapur. Pankaj was first married to Neliima Azeem, with whom he had Shahid.Supriya opened up about her equation with her family during the promotion of her new film 'Gangster Ganga'. It is touted to be a heartwarming story of a grandma and her grandson and the evolution of their relationship.Reflecting on her diverse characters, she stated, "Regardless of the role or genre that comes my way, it has to be significant and exciting. 'Hansa' was a unique character and it had a great impact on the audience , and then I portrayed 'Dhankor' in Ramleela, which was different yet important and unique. I feel I'm offered more interesting roles now than I used to be in my youth. Nowadays, there's so much happening, and the work I get is exciting. Shahid Kapoor's 'Jersey' on April 14? If so, then you won't be happy to know that the release date of the film has been changed.'Jersey', which also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur, will now hit the theatres on April 22.Sharing the update, film producer Aman Gill said, "As a team, we have put our blood sweat and tears into 'Jersey' and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. Jersey will now release on 22nd April."Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, 'Jersey', a remake of the National Award-winning Telugu film of the same name will see Shahid play the role of Arjun, a failed cricketer who decides to fulfil his dream of representing Team India for his son.It seems like the makers have postponed the release to avoid the box office clash with Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2', which will be out in theatres on April 14.Earlier, 'Jersey' got delayed in December last year due to a surge in COVID-19 cases.

Touted to be a hard-hitting and thrilling tale, the film will be directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and written by Shyamal Sengupta and Ritesh Shah. The film will also star Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpiee, and Tushar Pandey.The film backed by Zee Studios and Namah Pictures is an investigative drama centered around media integrity. Set in the underbelly of Kolkata, the film will be helmed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and Yami Gautam will be playing the lad as feist crime reported in their intriguing tale titled Lost.Talking about the film, director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury says, "Designed as an investigative drama, at its core the film explores themes like commitment, responsibility, holding hands and making our world beautiful and compassionate. For me, it's important that any film I make should have a social context and that the stories are taken from the world around us. Aditya Bhattacharya, son of filmmaker Basu Bhattacharya and grandson of legendary filmmaker Bimal Roy, made his feature directorial debut with the film. The film also starred Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak and Homi Wadia in pivotal roles.Raakh was well-acclaimed by the critics as well as the audiences alike. The film bagged numerous awards under its name. Aamir Khan and Pankaj Kapur won Special Mention and Best Supporting Actor, respectively, while A.Sreekar Prasad bagged the award for Best Editing for it at the National Film awards in 1989.The 1989 film is screening currently at the Bandra Film Festival which is being held virtually. The idea of bringing the film to the screens was of Bejoy Nambiar, who has worked closely with Aditya Bhattacharya on other projects. He said that Raakh is a master-class in filmmaking. It inspired a whole generation of filmmakers including him. He also tells that the performances, the technical wizardry, the assured storytelling has stood the test of time and feels fresh with every viewing even now. He further feels that Raakh was and will always be an important chapter for avid movie buffs and cinema enthusiasts.The film was based on a young man who becomes helpless after his girlfriend gets raped by a group of powerful crime lords and is submerged into various emotions when they escape easily from it. Carrying the anger, he then decides to take revenge on them and destroy them one by one. In the vortex of a vendetta, he finds himself being destroyed from the inside.The director of the film, Aditya Bhattacharya said that even more than three decades later, he is quite overwhelmed by the continuing affection and respect Raakh has been getting. He also says that he couldn't have imagined whilst shooting this as a 24-year-old. While DOP of the film, Santosh Sivan, who is now a well-known director also said that Raakh is his first and favourite film.

While Arshad Warsi has been preparing for many films including Welcome To Karachi and Jolly LLB 2 , the actor has other films on the platter too. And now the next film added to the list is Chicago Junction, directed by Kabeer Kaushik.

Elaborating on his character, Arshad Warsi mentioned that he will be playing a father along with Pankaj Kapur, who set out in search of their sons kidnapped by the mafia. Set in Uttar Pradesh, the film traces the deep rooted nexus of crime and politics with Naseeruddin Shah playing the negative role.

Though other details are yet to be finalized, Chicago Junction is slated to go on floor in July and August.
