The said warning also revealed that they will face disciplinary action if they fail to comply. The letter read, We are pained to inform all members that despite being fully aware that FWICE has issued a total non-cooperation circular advising all members not to work in any manner whatsoever with all Pakistani artistes, singers and technicians, some members are blatantly violating the non-cooperation circular." "We have been informed that more such Entertainment products and songs are being planned and made. Post dropping Rahat Fateh Ali Khan makers rope in Javed Ali for Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3

7 Nov 2019

One of the USPs of the Dabangg franchise is the song Tere mast mast do nain and its follow-up Tere Naina Bade Dagabaaz in the sequel, both sung by Pakistans much-respected Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. But now with relations between India and Pakistan deteriorating rapidly and seeping down to cultural exchanges as well, the Dabangg producers Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan and the songs composers Sajid-Wajid have no choice but to replace the original Pakistani voice. Speaking exclusively to this writer Wajid (one-half of the composers Sajid-Wajid) reveals, Yes we replaced Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khans voice with Javed Ali. Javed who has sung some big chartbusters in recent times like Kajra Re (Bunty Aur Babli), Nagada (Jab We Met) and Galat Baat Hai (Main Tera Hero) was seen as a natural replacement for the formidable original. Says composer Wajid, This decision was unanimous. When it comes to the country, nothing else matters. We would be willing to sacrifice even our lives to protect our country. How does sacrificing a singer matter? And we dont even see it a sacrifice. Wajid wants to make it clear that this move to remove RahatFateh Ali Khan is not to be taken personally. We have the highest regard for him. He is an enormously talented singer. Many of his fans regard his song in Dabangg and Dabangg 2 to be the best he has sung in India. And were proud of those songs. Lekin ab kya Karen? Halaat hi kuch aise gaye ho donon mulk ke beech. We respect individual talent from every part of the world. Bollywood welcomes talent from all over the world. In fact we are often hospitable at the cost of our own talent. But now things have changed. We have to shut all doors and windows between the two countries. We cant exempt cultural exchanges from the ban on Pakistan. Wajid says Javed Ali has done full justice to the song in Dabangg 3. Javed is a great voice. We dont need talent from anywhere else. We have the some of the greatest talent here.

Salman Khan drops Rahat Fateh Ali Khans voice from Dabangg 3s Naina song

7 Nov 2019

Dabangg is one of the most profitable and entertaining franchises of Bollywood and no film of the series is complete without certain aspects. These include a Hud Hud Dabangg song, an item number and a romantic track pertaining to Chulbul Pandeys wife Rajjos Naina. The first part featured Salman Khan wooing Sonakshi Sinha by singing the soulful track Tere Mast Mast Do Nain.In Dabangg 2 , he serenaded her with Tore Naina Bade Dagabaaz Re.Both these songs were sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan , who also hence became a part of Dabangg -must-have list. However, in the third part, fans will have to give his voice a miss. A source close to the project says, Dabangg films songs have been hits and the Dabangg 3 album is no exception. One of the reasons why the Naina songs of part 1 and 2 worked so well is because of Rahat Fateh Ali Khans melodious voice. Hence, Salman Khan got him on board for the romantic track of Dabangg 3 as well. The recording went well and everyone was happy with the outcome, including music director duo Sajid-Wajid. However, the tensions then increased between India and Pakistan. An unofficial decision was taken that the industry should stop working with singers from across the border. Since Rahat saab is a Pakistani, Salman and the entire team decided to drop his voice and replace it with that of another singer. The full audio of Tose Naina Lade song will be out today and is expected to work big time, despite Rahat saabs absence, adds the source but refuses to divulge who replaced the voice of the legendary singer. However, the source tells, Earlier a decision was taken to release the full audio of a song every three days. Thats not happening but all audio songs of the film will be out this month itself for sure.

ED sends notice to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for SMUGGLING illegal currency, to be BANNED from performing in India if proven guilty

30 Jan 2019

Popular Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been nabbed by the Enforcement Directorate in the matter of smuggling foreign currency to the tune of more than Rs. 2 crores. He has also been accused of transferring funds through an illegal manner since last three years. He has been asked to reply to the notice sent by ED within 45 days. The charges are pressed under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). A thorough probe was initiated by the government on Khan. This is not the first time that the singer has been accused of this. Earlier in 2011, he along with his manager were held at the Delhi airport for carrying an undeclared amount and few other instruments in foreign exchange currency. FEMA conducted a probe against him back in 2014 with regard to this matter. An investigation is underway with regards to this matter and if dissatisfied with Rahats response, he will be banned by the government to perform anywhere in India. Rahat is known for belting out hit numbers like: Jiya Dhadak Dhadak ( Kalyug ) to songs like Tere Mast Mast Do Nain (Dabangg) , Teri Ore ( Singh Is Kinng ), Sajda ( My Name Is Khan ), Teri Meri ( Bodyguard ) and Jag Jhoomeya ( Sultan ). Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is one of the most respected and popular singers in Bollywood.

Salman Khan replaces Arijit again in Welcome To New York

19 Feb 2018

He did it again! Salman Khan apparently got Arijit Singhs voice replaced with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Tiger Zinda Hai. This is the second time Salman did away with Arijits voice. While a majority of us have nothing against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan or Atif Aslam, we wonder if this is the right time to invite them to sing in Bollywood at a time when tensions on the border have escalated to an alarming pitch. In Tiger Zinda Hai we had Atif Aslam crooning Dil Diya Gallan and now theres Atif Aslam crooning Ishtehaar in Welcome To New York. Interestingly it is being whispered that Salman Khan insisted on dubbing Arijits voice with Rahats earlier also in Sultan for the song Jag Ghoomiya. The Salman-Arijit feud goes back a long a way to an awards function which Salman had hosted and where Arijit came on stage wearing informal clothes and casual chappals. The two had exchanged barbed sarcasm on stage. This perhaps explains why Arijit was shown the backdoor in favour of Rahat. But how do we explain Rahats presence in Welcome To New York ? BJP minister singer Baabul Supriyo says he is not able to comprehend the need or desire to cross the border for entertainment content at a time when war is no longer a remote concept. If thats true, I would request the makers of the film to remove Rahats voice and get someone else to dub it! I am also not sure why Atif Aslam got to sing Dil Diya Gallan when for sure our very own Arijit could have done a much better job. The FM stations played the song galore while news channels announced the name of our soldiers martyred by PAK-sponsored terrorists. Baabul clarifies that India has no problems with either Atif or Rahat. Atif as an artist sounds great in Dil Diya and Rahat is a great singer too. But its important to clarify that our problem is not with the artists, Atif or Rahat but with their Pakistani nationality. Its not a political stand but probably the families who have lost their sons, brothers, fathers would feel a lot better should the entire country show solidarity in any manner possible. Bollywood, says Baabul, has a national responsibility. Bollywood is an integral part of that Indianism. It represents India worldwide; hence banning Pakistani artists in Indian films would have also taken the protest against organised terrorism by the rogue nation, worldwide. And, I very clearly recall that such a promise was made when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had met with protests due to Fawad Khan. And why is Pakisans entertainment industry silent over cross-border terrorism? Baabul wonders, Its pertinent to note that one cannot recall a single Pak artist made famous by Bollywood, condemn terror acts by Pakistan. Enough is enough now, ban them for their only crime, that is being a Pakistani. Let we Indians wear our hearts on our sleeves and let our hearts beat in salutation of the sacrifice of our brave hearts. Also Read: SHOCKING! Being Human of Salman Khan gets blacklisted by BMC
