Ever since its inception, Zee TVs fiction show Qurbaan Hua has been successful in entertaining the masses through its unique love story of two starkly different personalities - Chahat (Pratibha Ranta) and Neel (Rajveer Singh). From entertaining the viewers with their khatti-meethi nok-jhok to taking the audience on a rollercoaster rides through various intriguing twists and turns, the show has definitely struck a chord with the audience and kept them hooked all while long. Having intrigued and entertained viewers for nearly one-and-a-half-year the show is now all set to bid adieu to its ardent fans on September 17 after completing an immensely successful season. In the recent episodes, viewers witnessed how Chahat and Neel were edging closer to each other, with Neel expressing his love for Chahat in a romantic way. While everything seemed to be falling into place, looks like a new twist is all set create havoc in their lives. Ayaz Ahmed is all set to enter the show as Zain Siddiqui, who was Chahats senior in medical college.Zains entry will turn Neel and Chahats lives upside down. Zain has been in love with Chahat since their college days when she saved him from bullies for being a nerd. Ever since he took it upon himself to transform into a handsome, confident man only to win Chahats heart. A character this rigid and savage will soon be stomping on Neel and Chahats life, making it quite difficult for both of them to overcome.Speaking of Zains deadly persona and his excitement to join Qurbaan Hua, Ayaz Ahmed said, Im pretty excited about this new role, it is something I've never played before. Having said that, I feel Ive always been nervous and excited about every character that Ive played so far. But this one, I feel, has a different touch altogether because its a negative role and I feel negative roles are very impactful in any show. Qurbaan Hua will also be my first show with Zee TV and I am really kicked about collaborating with the channel. Talking about my character, Ill be playing Zain Siddiqui, who was Chahats college senior and is still head over heels for her. But at the same time, he has a very shrewd motive too. Im hoping to give my best and am looking forward to making some really good friends while being on the show.In the meantime, while Neel and Chahat are readily professing their love for each other, Ghazala is leaving no stones unturned to split them up. However, looks like the audience is in for some high-end drama with the entry of veteran actress Mamta Luthra.Mamta Luthra, who has been a part of the television industry from more than a decade now, is coming back on Zee TV after 6 years (she was last seen on the channel in Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke). In Qurbaan Hua, she will be seen playing the role of Zubeida who is Chahats grandmother and has been living in Dubai. A devout Muslim, Zubeida is very rigid with regards to her beliefs and values, but she also loves Chahat more than anything in this world. Hence, she is ready to accept Neel as his husband, but the condition that she applies in front of him, will leave the audience astonished.Talking about her entry into the show, Mamta Luthra mentioned, As soon as I wrapped up my last project in early 2020, the pandemic made the Television industry come to a standstill. Keeping in mind my age, I was little conscious about going out for shoots in this kind of environment once the shoots resumed. So, I was away from the small screen for a short duration. There were many offers coming in, but I was also waiting for something with a strong base and then Qurbaan Hua came in and I said yes.She further added, I dont have specific preferences when it comes to the types of roles. Most of the roles I get are dominating and negative, but I have done positive ones too. I like to approach each role as a new challenge, and I thrive on it. However, if you ask me personally, I am a happy-go-lucky person who believes in living life to the fullest. I am excited for the audience to see me as Zubeida in Qurbaan Hua.
