Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 21 : Superstar Salman Khan is back in Mumbai but fans can't get enough of his pictures and videos from his Dubai visit. On Sunday, his video with actor Sanjay Dutt's son Shahraan widely surfaced online. In the clip taken at the Karate Combat event and shared by pro fighter Shahzaib Rind, Salman can be seen all smiles as he poses for clicks and interacts with the people there including Shahraan. Fans chimed in the comment section and reacted to the clip. "Sanjay with junior Sanju baba," a social media user commented. "Salman looked so happy to see Sanjay's son," another one wrote. Salman also met with 'Bigg Boss' fame and Tajikistani singer Abdu Rozik in Dubai. He was in the UAE to launch a gym featuring his 'Being Strong Fitness Equipment' range. On Sunday, he returned to India. He was captured on camera by Mumbai-based paps who were stationed outside the airport. He was flanked by guards on all sides as he exited the airport.Trip to Dubai marked Salman's first international visit ever since the shooting incident outside his home in Bandra's Galaxy Apartment last week.Earlier, on Tuesday, Kutch Police arrested the two accused persons and handed them to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Later, a city court sent the two accused to the custody of the Mumbai Crime Branch until April 25 in connection with the firing incident. The accused, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) from Bihar, were presented before the court after a medical examination. The two men, who came on a motorbike, fired four rounds outside the Galaxy Apartments, where the actor resides, around 5 am on Sunday morning and fled.CCTV footage showed that both accused sported caps and carried backpacks. The clip also showed them firing in the direction of the actor's home. After the arrest of the accused, Kutch DSP AR Zankant said preliminary investigations revealed that the accused were in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang."Mumbai Police is investigating the case of firing outside the residence of actor Salman Khan. We informed the Kutch Police that the two accused had fled to the Gujarat district. Different teams were formed to catch the accused. They were eventually arrested by the Kutch Police and handed over to the Mumbai Police. During primary interrogation of the accused, we learned that they were in contact with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang," DSP Zankant said.Notably, since November 2022, Salman's security level has been elevated to Y-Plus after threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. The actor was also authorised to carry a personal firearm and has also acquired a new armoured vehicle for added protection. On Monday, Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan issued a statement on the family's behalf, saying they all have been affected due to the 'disturbing' firing incident."The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person in a motorcycle at Galaxy Apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media, saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected, which is not true, and these views should not be taken seriously," the statement read.He also shared that the family was fully cooperating with the Mumbai Police in the ongoing probe into the incident."No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time, the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support," Arbaaz added in his statement.

"When news broke out in the market that I am making 'Khal Nayak' many heroes approached me as they wanted to be a part of the film. Anil Kapoor came and expressed his interest in doing the film. He even got ready to be bald but I (was looking for something else). Sanjay Dutt was the right fit," he said.On being asked why he particularly chose Sanjay over anybody else, Ghai elaborated, "Sanjay Dutt has a typical face...He can be dangerous, he can be innocent. If you look at his face, there is an innocence to it but at the same time, if he becomes angry, he is truly dangerous. He operates in two shades and that is why he was the best choice for Khal Nayak. I told him to just follow me, so he said you just act, I'll follow you and he did exactly that. Every scene in Khal Nayak, he copied them as I wrote them in great detail. I was also a performer so that helped as well."'Khal Nayak' was released in 1993. The film revolves around a ruthless gangster (Sanjay) Dutt who falls in love with an undercover cop (Madhuri Dixit). Jackie Shroff also played a crucial role in the film. Subhash Ghai also shared his plans on making a sequel to Khalnayak in 2020 but there has been no update on that front yet.
Subhash Ghai's most successful projects, it encountered criticism during its release.'Khal Nayak' starring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit Nene found itself in a pool of controversy especially due to the former's arrest under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention Act) and the Arms Act months before the film's theatrical premiere in 1993. While he was released on bail a month later, his bail was cancelled in 1994 and he was arrested again. He was let out of jail in October 1995.Notably, Sanjay Dutt played a wanted criminal in the film that left many to draw parallels between the real and the reel. The film also sparked controversy due to its popular 'Choli Ke Peeche' song. The track faced the wrath of a section of society over its allegedly "vulgar" lyrics. In an exclusive interview with ANI, Ghai recalled the release of 'Khal Nayak' amid several setbacks." (Sanjay's arrest) did not majorly impact the making of the film but yes there was a lot of noise in the media. I felt bad that he went to the jail. We had already finished the shooting part of the film when he got arrested...only the last court scene was in the making when all that happened," Ghai said."The main hardship we faced due to 'Choli Ke Peeche' song. People labelled it 'vulgar' ...protests happened. Around 32 political units came and protested against me. They demanded a ban...many even claimed that I was promoting a terrorist," he added.Despite being surrounded by controversies, Ghai managed to stay strong and let his work speak for himself. Sharing how he dealt with furore over 'Khal Nayak', he said, "I told the protestors to first watch the film and then decide. 'If after watching you feel that there's something wrong in it then please do remove my film,' I told them. I made the film with my honest intentions. This film talks about how...he becomes a nayak from a khalnayak. The story was about transformation of a villain, but you know that when there is 'josh', it stays for a long time within our country and by the time it goes, your life ends up being ruined."'Khal Nayak' also starred Jackie Shroff. The film completed 30 years last year.
He also penned a heartfelt caption that read, "Honoring our ancestors with Pind Daan in the sacred land of Gaya. A spiritual journey reconnecting with roots and seeking blessings for the past, present, and future. Grateful for this profound experience that reminds us of our heritage. Jai Bholenath."View this post on InstagramA post shared by Sanjay Dutt (@duttsanjay)Sanjay prayed for the peace of the souls of his departed parents, Sunil Dutt and Nargis at the temple on Thursday.Pind daan is a Hindu ritual that involves paying homage to the deceased. It's performed by relatives of the deceased at three holy sites in Gaya: the Phalgu River, Vishnupad Temple, and Akshay Vat tree. The ritual can take about two hours and can be completed in one day.Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay will be next seen in the sci-fi horror comedy film 'The Virgin Tree', which also features Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, and Palak Tiwari in the lead roles.Sharing more details about the film, Sanjay earlier said, "I am pleased to back the film, which was exactly the script I was looking for. The film is the perfect blend of comedy and horror, with the right balance of chills and thrills. I am so glad to have found a production partner in Deepak Mukut whose cinematic vision and ideals align with mine. I always wanted to encourage young, fresh talent in the industry and with this film, we launch a new director with a fresh vision. He has put together an eclectic cast and I wish them the best time and a glorious shoot ahead."He also has 'Welcome To The Jungle' alongside Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Disha Patani in his kitty. 'Welcome To The Jungle' is all set to hit theatres on December 20, 2024.
