Shriya Saran, who is receiving appreciation for her role in 'Showtime', opened up about her experience working with co-star Rajeev Khandelwal.Directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar, 'Showtime' is an epic saga of legacy and ambition in the world of cinema, which takes the audience into what goes behind the multi-million-dollar industry of Bollywood, nepotism and the power struggles at the top.Sharing her experience working with Rajeev, Shriya said, "Rajeev is very sweet, also reserved. Honey Singhs wife Shalini Talwar breaks down during domestic violence court hearing

Updated: Aug 29, 2021 - 10:20 AM IST A Delhi court Saturday, August 28, directed Honey Singh, real name Hirdesh Singh, to appear before it on September 3. This is in connection with the domestic violence case that has been filed by his wife Shalini Talwar as she approached the court alleging physical, mental, and emotional abuse.His wife Shalini Talwar broke down in court during the hearing. She said that she had given him her ten years and was by his side but he had abandoned her. Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh asked Talwar what she wanted from the court. According to news agency ANI, "What stage is the marriage at? Where is the love lost?" the magistrate asked her. Singh also said that it would be better if the matter could be settled.The rapper failed to appear before the court due to poor health earlier in the day. Metropolitan Magistrate Tania Singh said, "None of is above law. It is very surprising to see this case is taken very lightly."Meanwhile, Honey Singh's counsel Ishaan Mukherjee filed a reply to a complaint filed against him by Talwar under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. ANI reported, Honey Singh's counsel "told the court that Singh's wife has already taken away all the valuables. He also assured the court that they are ready to accommodate her and they will build a wall and flat that can be provided to her in 15 days. Singh's counsel apprised the court about Honey Singh's two properties costing four crores out of which property one property has joint ownership of Shalini and Honey Singh."His wife Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence case against him. She alleged sexual violence, mental harassment, cheating, and financial fraud. Honey Singh had rubbished the allegations citing them false and malicious.

Film producer Parvesh C. Mehra dies of COVID-19

Film producer Parvesh C. Mehra passed away on Saturday after a long battle with COVID-19 in Mumbai. Mehra was battling the virus for almost a month before succumbing to it. He passed away at 4 pm on December 18 in Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.Parvesh Mehra who was 71-years-old at the time of his death. He is survived by his son and daughter and their families and also his elder sister and three younger brothers, Umesh, Rajesh and Rajiv.The Mehra's owned the landmark Minerva cinema in Mumbai for many years. Some of the films produced by Mehra were Ram Jaane, Chamatkar, Pyar Ke Do Pal, Ashanti, and Shikari: The Hunter among others.
