I have been his fan since childhood...so 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' will always remain special. He would come on set, crack a joke and make all of us feel comfortable. His seniority did not intimidate us ...he always helped us. We all used to sit together and have food with him. I will always cherish the time spent with sir on the sets," Palak shared.

She said that her remark has been taken out of context and misconstrued."It has come to my notice that a certain statement of mine referring to a colleagues previous role has been taken out of context and has been misconstrued. When put in context, one will understand that the statement in reference to Bhagwan was in context with Sourabh Raj Jains popular role of a deity. People associate character names to actors and hence, I used that as an example during my conversation with media. However, it has been completely misconstrued which is saddening to see, she said in the statement."As someone who has been a staunch believer of Bhagwan myself, there is no way that I would intentionally or unintentionally say or do any such thing that would hurt sentiments by and large. I have, however, come to understand that when taken out of context, it has unintentionally hurt feelings of people. Please be assured that it has never been my intention to hurt anyone, with my words or actions. Hence, I would like to humbly apologise for the hurt that my statement has unintentionally caused to a lot of people," she added.Shweta Tiwari along with her Show Stopper co-stars Rohit Roy, Diganana Suryavanshi, and Sourabh Raaj Jain was present at the press conference. Saturday's episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 11 begins with a tug of war between teams, under captainship of Shweta Tiwari and Rahul Vaidya, respectively. Shweta Tiwari's team includes Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Anushka Sen, Aastha Gill, Abhinav Shukla, and Sana Makbul while Rahul Vaidya's team consists of Arjun Bijlani, Vishal Aditya Singh, Varun Sood, Nikki Tamboli, and Maheck Chahal.Taskmaster Rohit Shetty reminds everyone that Team Rahul has scored 20 Points while Team Shweta has earned only 10 Points. For the first stunt, the contestant will be put on a rotating ramp and as the stunt starts, they need to jump to the next platform to collect the flags and hook them at the starting point. The contestant will have to collect a total of 10 flags whilst the rotation speed of the ramp will keep increasing, as the stunt progresses.Divyanka and Vishal were selected to perform the stunt, where Divyanka failed to perform well, Vishal, on the other hand, plays well and manages to collect 9 flags. As a result, making Team Rahul win the challenge. Then for the second (partner) stunt where one contestant had to lie down in a container while the other partner who had to find a code outside the container, for the box. The insects were to be added inside the container during the stunt. Abhinav and Shweta perform and successfully complete it.Rahul and Varun go next and complete it as well. However, Rahul-Varun took less time to finish the stunt. As a result, Team Shweta goes in the elimination. For the elimination stunt, Shweta nominates Abhinav and Aastha. The underwater stunt was successfully completed by Abhinav, however, Aastha had to abort the stunt due to some problems. As a result, singer Aastha Gill gets eliminated and ends her journey on the show.

The actress will now be seen essaying the role of a tough CBI officer on a new crime series Shukla V/S Tripathi.Speaking about the show, Shweta said that she is excited to be part of Shukla V/S Tripathi. It will have a thriller with a lot of suspense. The actress has reportedly started shooting for the same. The storyline of the film will be based on the life of a young poet who gets shot on live television. The investigating officer played by Shweta will dig out the truth against all obstacles.Speaking about her character, Shweta said that the character she is playing is Riddhima Lakha who is a no-nonsense CBI office and cannot be swayed or bribed. In the end, she concluded the note and said that she wishes for the love and support from her fans as she is embarking on a new journey.

After actor Shweta Tiwari shared a video of estranged husband Abhinav Kohli allegedly assaulting her and their son, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has written to the Mumbai Police seeking their intervention in the case. The NCW also tweeted that they have been perturbed by this reported incident and have taken cognizance of the matter.Sharing a news article about Shweta Tiwari sharing CCTV footage of Kohli assaulting her and her son, NCW tweeted,"@NCWIndia is perturbed by this reported incident and has taken cognizance of the matter. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to DGP Maharashtra asking to immediately into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with the law." In the letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale, NCW chairperson Rekha Sharma wrote, "The National Commission for Women has come across a media post captioned Shweta Tiwari shares shocking CCTV video of ex-husband Abhinav Kohli physically abusing her and son Reyansh wherein it can be seen that the accused is trying to snatch the boy from Shweta Tiwari even though the child does not want to go to him. In the hustle, Shweta Tiwari falls on the ground. The accused continues to create ruckus after getting inside the house as well."The commission is perturbed with the sight of the atrocity being committed on a child and to the woman. You are, therefore, requested to immediately look into the matter and take appropriate action against the accused in accordance with the law. The action taken must be communicated to the commission within 10 days, she said.Responding to the tweet by NCW, Kohli wrote, "Respected Chairperson, I have not done anything wrong. I beg you to please request DGP Maharashtra to investigate into the location of my son and hand him over to me."
