Tinnu Verma

Kamal Haasan, who is busy producing and acting in films down South, has decided to shift his attention back to Bollywood. The superstar who has acted in popular films like Appu Raja, Chachi 420, Hey Ram among others, will now produce a film titled Amar Hain . From what we hear, Haasan had planned the film in 2012, but it never materialized since he got busy with the controversial film Vishvaroopam . And now, not only will he be producing the film but he will also star in it along with a popular A-list actor. For Amar Hain , he will be joining hands with Virendra Arora and Arjun K. Kapoor who are also producing the Lara Dutta, Kay Kay Menon starrer Abhi Nahi Toh Kabhi Nahi. While Kapoor expressed his happiness over collaborating with Kamal Haasan, Haasan is equally excited about the progress happening on this long pending film. Moreover, the actor also assured that they will be wrapping up the film in five months, after the film goes on floor.

Amar Hain talks about the deep rooted web of politics and money laundering and it is slated to go on floor in November along with an international crew coming on board. As far as the details of the star cast are concerned, it is yet to be finalized.

Krian Media has signed a three back to back film deal with the Mickey Virus director Saurabh Varma at an undisclosed amount. Commenting on the association Varma said, "It is a pleasure and a privilege to be associated with the Krian Media team who has in-depth understanding of the film business. We have not just planned the script and the production design, but also developed the complete worldwide distribution and marketing plans, on lines of Hollywood majors, defining regions, markets and cinemas, for all 3 titles."

Adding to the same Raj Malik, Senior Vice President Film Production & Distribution at Krian Media said, "Krian Media aims to change the dynamics for 'good content' by taking Indian movies to non-Indian audiences around the world, thereby largely increasing the footprint of an otherwise smaller India release.

Solid Patels is being dubbed in Mexican, Spanish and will be released in over 500 screens in Mexico alone. Depending on its success, the film will travel to other Spanish speaking countries like Argentina, Peru, Uraguay, Paraguay & Columbia. This will largely increase the potential revenues particularly for non A-lister films." The first film Solid Patels that is currently under production is a comedy revolving around 2 Gujarati boys Tom Patel and Jerry Patel and stars Shazahn Padamsee, Shiv Pandit, Ali Asgar, Vaishali Desai, Kitu Gidwani and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles. The film is a clean family comedy targeting all age groups.The next film is an investigative thriller called 7 Hours to Go! This film will be a fast paced gritty thriller, revolving around a man whose life changes in seven hours. The film will go on floors in February 2015 while it is slated to release in September 2015. However, the casting of the film is yet to be finalized.

The third project is a new age slice of life drama called 2GB Ki Life and is about the struggles, lives and aspirations of the new generation. This film is in the new age Jerry Maguire meets Wolf of Wall Street space, but more relevant to contemporary times.

Tinu Verma, who was absconding after his brother Manmohan Verma recently pressed charges against him alleging him of hitting him with a sword, was finally found and arrested. Manmohan, the action director of Madras Cafe is currently in the hospital recovering the injuries caused by his brother.

Apparently, the two were on loggerheads for some months because of a property issue. When Manmohan saw some of Tinu's men working in his residence, he lost his cool and tried to stop the boys. This in turn aggravated Tinu's temper and Tinu hit his brother with a sword. Manmohan suffered some serious injuries and a surgery was inevitable where they inserted two metal rods inside the action director's legs.

Violent attacks and accusations became a part of the Verma residence after Manohar Verma, action director of Madras Cafe, accused his step brother Tinnu Verma of attacking and injuring him over a property issue. Manohar claimed that Tinnu lost his temper over a family dispute and physically hit him at their Malad farmhouse.

Apparently, Manohar who returned home late night after a special screening of his latest release was awakened the next morning when he saw Tinnu's men carrying out some construction inside his premises. When he intervened, not only did the boys attack him but according to Manohar's statements, even his stepbrother Tinnu injured his legs with a sword when he tried to stop the boys. Manohar was initially rushed to the nearest hospital in Malad and now has been shifted to another suburban hospital. Doctors' claim that a surgery of the legs will be required which will keep Manohar away from action for about four to six months. However, the Verma family has a different version. Accusing Manohar, the family revealed that he too had barged into Tinnu's house last month and had abused his wife.

For now, a case under IPC section 307 has been registered against Tinnu but the action director seems to be missing since the incident.
